Our ride
The official Capital Region Tour de Cure is 6/13 in Ballston Spa. Some of us will be riding in person as a warm-up ride. The following day, the three of us take the train from Albany to Niagara Falls. NY. We start the 415 mile ride by crossing into Canada at the Rainbow Bridge and then back into the US at the Peace Bridge into Buffalo. From there we ride to Erie Canal mile marker 0 at Canalside, and then along the Empire State Trail to Corning Preserve in Albany. We'll be staying in motels along the way. This will be a slow ride carrying all of our gear, plus numerous photo ops. We have several points of interest planned, and we hope to try the local cuisine along the way. Did you know there was an Albany specific food?
